Pall Water - R & D Process Engineer (Hybrid)

This position is hybrid 3 days a week out of our office in London, Ontario Canada.

Position Overview:

As a Lead for Innovation Projects in water treatment technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving product and technology development initiatives at PALL Water. Leveraging your expertise in membrane separation technology, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative water treatment processes that bring enhanced value to our customers and set PALL Water apart in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Process Development (25%): Conceptualize, design, and develop cutting-edge water treatment processes utilizing membrane separation technology, aimed at delivering differentiated solutions and superior value to our customers.
  • Collaboration and Solution Finding (25%): Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to identify and solve customer challenges.
  • Validation and Implementation (20%): Review technical product and process specifications to ensure alignment with performance, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Standardization (20%): Ensure that developed technologies, processes, and products meet the regulatory and data privacy requirements of our markets.
  • Continuous Improvement (15%): Actively participate in the continuous improvement of technical solutions and work processes.
  • Customer Engagement (15%): Engage in meaningful conversations with customers and commercial teams to deeply understand customer needs and business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment equipment systems OR Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment equipment systems.
  • Strong expertise and hands-on experience in process knowledge and troubleshooting for Microfiltration, Ultrafiltration, and Reverse Osmosis technologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze system hydraulics and identify design constraints that may impact system effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
