You as a Cyber Security Analyst:

  • Leadership in SOC operations including proactive threat hunting, as well as intel analysis and integration into detection and response systems.
  • Prepare technical incident and threat reports in response to security events and identified risks.
  • Identify, develop, lead, and facilitate implementation of technical initiatives and programs designed to improve the organization’s security posture.
  • Extensive participation in event and incident investigations.
  • Support the vulnerability management and remediation initiatives through administering vulnerability management tools and both implementing and coordinating remediation efforts across IT technical teams (Support, Operations and DevOps)
  • Perform system administration of security applications & tools, including SIEM, Vulnerability Management, NGAV / EDR, SOAR, and System Management tools. Enhance and expand centralized log management and automation within the SIEM, including the design and management of appropriate alerting, SOAR playbooks, and automated reporting.
  • Design and implement technical integrations between security applications and IT systems. Support the secure design and implementation of IT systems (servers, user devices, applications, infrastructure) and processes in collaboration with the I T technical teams

Is this the right role for you?

  • Experience proposing, designing, managing, and implementing the full life cycle of technical projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Post secondary education in IT, Information / Cyber Security, or relevant industry experience
  • Experience working in Information / Cyber Security
  • Experience in systems administration and support, with a preference for those with experience in security systems
  • Demonstrated strength in both analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to work well independently; able to self start, and a strong ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
  • Experience with Azure, M365, Cisco a plus
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation a plus
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISA, Security+) a plus
  • Familiarity with industry standards (NIST, CIS, PCI, SOC, ISO) a plus
