JMP Solutions is searching for a Invoicing Coordinator. By utilizing a high attention to detail, the Invoicing Coordinator is responsible for the validation, from an accounting perspective, of the project setup to ensure the timeliness of invoicing to our clients. Additionally, ensuring we are able to invoice our clients, based on corporate established timelines with a high level of accuracy. Based out of our London, Ontario Corporate office, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will work closely with the Finance team members and other departments as required.

What Would a Typical Day Look Like?

• Creation, calculation, and review of invoices in fast-paced environment
• Working with Project Managers, Accounting, and management to coordinate the process to create and submit invoices
• Accountable for reducing processing time driving towards a same day/next day approach to processing
• Reporting on processing activity daily
• Ensuring accuracy and speed in invoice creation and submission
• Providing back-up support for general accounting to other areas within Finance
• Special projects as required

What Qualifies You for this Opportunity?

• Diploma in Accounting & Business Administration
• 1 year bookkeeping experience, bank reconciliations, AR reconciliations etc.
• Proficiency in ERP systems or accounting software packages is an asset
• Must be self-directed, proactive, work independently, strong time management and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills required
• Organized and flexible to changing business conditions and a fast-paced work environment
• Collection experience an asset
• Advanced level of Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
• Experience working within an Accounting department of a mid to large-sized organization would be an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
