Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Counselor to advise, guide, and provide insights to Data and Artificial Intelligence Leaders. The main objective is to assist these leaders in delivering improved results by optimizing their practice and decision-making, mitigating risk, and addressing the struggles and challenges they face on the path to professional excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Counsel and oversight exclusively to 18 – 20 clients within any 12-month period (cultivated or assigned).
- Participate in unstructured, value-based client conversations and create new methods for a client’s success.
- Provide confidential and professional advising to our members in-person, by phone, and digitally through video conferencing.
- Evaluate members’ needs and work with them to set objectives and develop a strategy/work plan within the terms and conditions of the membership agreement.
- Embrace Info-Tech Research Group’s culture of continuous learning by participating in ongoing self and industry development activities.
- Provide proactive thought leadership and new ideas not specifically requested by the client.
- Collaborate with Global Services, Sales Leadership and Account Directors on account planning and support efforts.
- Leverage ITRG and third-party assets to deliver on membership commitments.
- Diagnose member value expectations and pain points and connect them with appropriate Info-Tech Research Group product solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients’ peers and key stakeholders to provide experiences tailored to their objectives and culture.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 plus years of professional IT experience in leadership positions across multiple organizations, with a focus on Data and Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience in at least five of the following areas:
- AI Use Cases – Traditional AI, Machine Learning, Agentic AI etc.
- AI Technology / AI Ecosystems selection and implementation
- AI Strategy & AI Governance
- MLOps / AIOps
- IIoT and Edge deployments
- Data Warehousing / Data Lakehouse (Data Ecosystems)
- Data Strategy & Data Governance
- Data Engineering
- Analytics & related tools
- Strong relationship-building skills; operational and systems development experience.
- Ability to coordinate complex service delivery models and respond to diverse stakeholder needs.
- Exceptional customer service focus, professionalism, and adherence to ethical principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills; self-starter.
- Ability to uphold Info-Tech Research Group’s core values as a trusted executive.
- Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish or German is good to have to support our diverse client base across North America and globally.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time and ability to obtain a TN1 Visa.
