Looking for a Full-Time Engineering Coordinator to join our Land team in London!
About the Role:
- This role will be responsible for aspects of project coordination for the engineering design of subdivision and site plan developments with Sifton. Will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project approvals are executed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining the integrity of design and ensuring feasibility and costing of projects.
- Sifton Properties Limited is committed to its role in alleviating the housing supply crisis in Canada and contributing to the City of London’s 47,000-unit by 2031 housing pledge. As part of the Neighbourhood Developments Team, the Project Coordinator, Engineering will integrate within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team and play a key role in subdivision and site plan project success.
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or other discipline at an accredited Community College, University.
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in Engineering, Land Development and/or Construction activities.
- Ability to work independently to move multiple projects along in parallel.
- The ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly.
- The ability to bring structure and organizational skills to lifecycle of all projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills, including the use of Microsoft Project or other Project Management Software. Computer proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A comprehensive knowledge of relevant municipal regulations.
- A high degree of customer service orientation through strong communications with business partners and external stakeholders.
- Civil3D proficiency and Land Development Engineering experience will be considered an asset.
