Job Description
Account Relations Specialist
The Role:
As an Accounts Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for collection payments, maintain and update billing contacts, send statements and invoices, and follow up to on past due accounts. Our A/R team values the importance of customer relationships and seeks someone who is skilled in providing professional, timely and accurate service. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries such as update contacts and invoices
- Collect on outstanding receivables via telephone and email
- Problem solving skills to confirm resolution of any billing issues
- Process credit card payments and apply account credits
- Work with Vendors regarding past due accounts
- Initiate process improvements
- High School / GED or 4 year post secondary Diploma preferred
- Superb time management skills and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills; oral, written and professional telephone etiquette
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Accounts Receivable and Administrative experience
- Customer Service and/or Retail dealer experience is an asset
- You are highly dependable, friendly and work well with customers
- Reliable high-speed Internet a must
- A quiet work setting with minimal noise or disruption to conduct business calls is mandatory
