Accounts Receivable Manager

 

StarTech.com is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our London, ON based Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Manager. This is a hybrid position allowing the flexibility to work remotely with occasional office visits as required.

Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Accounts Receivable Manager makes an impact by being accountable for the global portfolio of receivables, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and driving process improvements across the AR function. In addition, you will provide in depth analysis of various customer accounts, prepare the monthly AR aging reports, be responsible for managing escalated AR matters, and work cross-functionally across the organization to enhance the customer experience.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will review potential customer credit requests, assess risk and make recommendations to management as required, with a focus on quality interactions and exceptional customer experiences.

This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and benefit package and will appeal to someone who has previous Manager experience and who wants to work in a dynamic team environment.

  • An opportunity to gather data and report your findings on customer payment histories and trends to support cash flow management
  • A well-rounded role where you are involved in the preparation of aging reports, assessing new customer requests, and building and maintaining positive relationships with customer Accounts Payable representatives

 What You Can Show Us 

  • Post-Secondary Education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of related experience, with 3+ at the Manager level (an asset)
  • Fluency in Microsoft EXCEL
  • Experience with an ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset)
  • A proven track record with large scale process improvements and continuous improvement
  • Experience analyzing financial information, tracking, and reporting on key metrics
  • Demonstrated moral judgement in handling confidential information and monetary transactions
  • Exceptional communication skills
