What you’ll be doing

The Business Transformation and Automation Analyst will play a pivotal role in our organization’s digital transformation journey. This role involves leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to automate complex manual processes, transform data, and streamline document intake.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and its capabilities, a keen eye for identifying automation opportunities, and a passion for driving business transformation through technology. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be responsible for…

  • Develop & implement low-code/no-code solutions to streamline and optimize business processes.
  • Automate workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, ETL tools, RPA, BPA, and other relevant tools.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Collaborate with various business units to identify, analyze, and translate business needs into documented functional requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to upskill staff in the use of new systems and processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing business processes and/or automation initiatives, recommending improvements where possible.
  • Assist team members using the solutions you created.
  • Provide operational support, collect feedback, and plan improvements following the change management process.
  • Determine when a full-code solution is best and interface with appropriate teams to facilitate transition to other teams or individuals where necessary.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in business transformation and automation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What we need from you

  • Utilize Power Automate and PowerApps to automate complex manual processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Transform data from Excel files using Power Query, enabling more effective data analysis and decision-making.
  • Automate interactions with websites using Power Automate Desktop or Selenium, reducing the need for manual data entry for repeatable processes.
  • Work with AI Builder to automate the intake of documents, improving speed and reducing errors in document processing.
  • Empower users to be more efficient by providing training and support on the delivered solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-service.

 

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Power Platform, ETL, and RPA tools.
  • Experience in roles such as Solution Architect, Functional Consultant, Software Developer, Business Analyst, Support Analyst.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with JSON, XML, JavaScript, Python, Java and SQL file formats.
  • Proficiency with advanced excel formulas, pivot tables and macros.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Voice, and Marketing is highly desirable.
  • Experience with other Power Platform technologies, such as Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages and Power BI
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and technologies, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms are an asset.
  • An aspiration for growth and continuous learning.
  • Ability to travel to USA, Canada, and Mexico as needed.
