About the role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Operations Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing automation programs and assets while also providing technical expertise in troubleshooting, data management, and system integrations. The Marketing Operations Lead will play a key role in supporting our Salesforce and Marketing technology stack, managing all integration aspects across our applications.

You will help build and optimize automated marketing programs that drive inbound funnel growth, revenue, and business opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, and Product/IT departments to support integrations, define Salesforce requirements, create and manage supporting assets, execute campaigns, and report on results.

Key Responsibilities

Build Marketing Programs & Performance Reports:

  • Design, implement and maintain automated marketing solutions for our four key brands—Info-Tech, McLeanCo, myPolicies, and SoftwareReviews — including nurturing sequences, segmentation, automation rules, email lists, webinar and event registrations, Salesforce campaigns, and other essential assets across the Marketing Technology stack.
  • Leverage understanding of customer and prospect data to build complex lists and target audiences
  • Support the execution of content distribution and engagement email programs, managing email compliance, handling bounces, opt-outs, and analyzing email metrics in Pardot, Salesforce, Salesloft, and Everest.
  • Monitor campaign dashboards and build Salesforce reports, ensuring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and suggesting campaign performance improvements.
  • Use tools like ZeroBounce and Everest for email list validation to ensure quality.

Support System Integrations:

  • Support integration and testing of new software within the marketing tech stack.
  • Monitor and resolve data sync and integration issues across Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce, ON24, Salesloft, BrightTALK, and other systems.


Project and Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders by effectively communicating marketing operations’ strategies, project updates, and actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Sales Ops, to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage projects and team sprints using tools like JIRA, resolving blocks and maintaining timelines.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide support to users of the marketing technology stack by creating user guides, FAQs, and answering questions during group chats and training sessions.
  • Deliver training and best practice guidance to the marketing team on using the tools and systems in place.

 

Education and Experience

  • 3- 5 years of proven experience with marketing automation and sales enablement applications (Pardot, Marketo Engage, Salesloft, Salesforce), and third-party integrations.
  • Strong understanding of email list management, email validation tools (ZeroBounce, Everest), and email campaign best practices.
  • Skilled in business communication promoting clarity and collaboration to drive decisions across diverse teams and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus on achieving critical deadlines.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all marketing assets are well-built and tested.

 

Certifications:

  • Nice to have: Pardot, Marketo Engage and / or Salesforce certifications
  • Optional AI-based certifications (machine learning / data analysis etc.)
