The Role:??? 

 

We’re seeking a commercially minded and operationally driven marketer to serve as the Business Unit Commercial Marketing Lead within J.D. Power for the Dealer Solutions group.  In this role, you will collaborate with Corporate Marketing to adapt company-wide campaigns for specific markets/audiences, ensuring relevance while maintaining brand integrity. Working closely with the sales team, you will plan and execute localized marketing and sales enablement activities to drive sales pipeline growth and strengthen the company’s presence within the automotive dealer and dealer service provider space.

 

This is a B2B marketing role, requiring experience at the intersection of automotive, financial services and insurance, the ability to understand and interact with customers, and the ability to understand and promote sophisticated data analysis, and software solutions.   There are a large number of potential customers so a track record of creating campaigns, deploying them and collecting and organizing sales leads is a key skillset.

As the Commercial Marketing Lead, you will be the driving force behind localized marketing execution that fuels pipeline growth and strengthens our presence in the market. By translating corporate campaigns into regionally or customer type relevant programs, enabling sales teams with tailored content and tools, and owning high-impact events and engagements, you’ll ensure our brand resonates with the right audiences in the right ways. Your work will connect strategy to execution—delivering measurable outcomes, amplifying corporate initiatives, and providing critical market insights that shape future direction. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role:

  • Accelerate the revenue growth of J.D. Power by: 

  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with Corporate Marketing and Sales teams to translate corporate campaigns into actionable, territory or customer type level programs.  

  • Localization of Assets: Adapt corporate content and messaging to ensure relevance for specific markets while maintaining brand integrity.  

  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Execute targeted marketing activities that drive measurable pipeline impact.  

  • Event Management: Own end-to-end execution of trade shows, specialty events, and sponsorships—including logistics, materials, demos, and lead capture.  

  • Speaking Engagements: Manage identification, preparation, and execution of speaking opportunities, including abstracts, bios, decks, and contracts.  

  • CRM Management: Maintain and update business unit contact lists and ensure data integrity within the company CRM system.  

  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Report on campaign performance and KPIs to Corporate Marketing.  

  • RFP & Presentation Support: Develop and customize client-facing presentations and support proposal development.  

  • Market Feedback Loop: Provide insights on segment and local market trends, customer needs, and campaign effectiveness to Corporate Marketing. 

 

Qualifications of this Role:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership roles.  

  • Deep experience in B2B marketing, particularly running campaigns across large customer groups.

  • Experience in field marketing, sales enablement, or regional campaign execution. 

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation tools for lead management and reporting. 

  • Willingness to travel to support global teams and attend client engagements and industry events.
