Engineering Services Specialist

Position Overview:
As the Engineering Services Specialist, you will partner with leadership as well as lab staff to perform a variety of activities to ensure a smooth and efficient lab operation.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring lab tickets are addressed in a timely and thorough manner to maintain highest efficiency of the lab.
- Distributing test cash and supplies as required by QA team to best facilitate testing.
- Maintaining orderly and clean lab to aid in the efficacy of all lab operations.
- Striving to improve upon lab operations and procedures including ATM booking, Confluence documentation, inventory management systems, etc.
- Recognizing where issues arise in daily lab operations to quickly address any issues and maintain optimum efficiency.
- Constantly learning through hands-on experience and exposure to business operations.
- Assisting with hardware, software, automation, and administrative tasks as needed
- Offering suggestions and input from ground level to aid with policy and procedures.
- Enforcing lab rules to ensure safety and orderly conduct.
- Addressing concerns and criticisms by lab staff to create professional work environment
- Maintaining friendly and respectful demeanor toward co-workers and management
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and/or 4 years’ relevant experience
- Familiarity with foundations of software programming, basic computer hardware and capacity for organization
- Experience with basic troubleshooting of hardware issues
- Understands core concepts and the tools required to tackle the various problems that emerge as part of day-to-day lab activities
- High functional and Low-level Windows PC/Server knowledge
- XFS and Multi-Vendor SP support knowledge
