Libro is on the quest for a passionately accountable contract full-time Collections Coordinator in our London Administration Office.  The successful candidate will proactively monitor to ensure accounts are being operated appropriately and prioritize the collection of Libro’s loans that are at risk of loss.  This position gathers information from customer/Owners and branch staff in a timely manner in order to mitigate loss and assist our customer/Owners through difficult times. Could you be Libro?

This role is eligible for Libro’s work from home program, with a requirement to work in office 1 day biweekly (may require additional time in office).  

The Epic Human we are looking for will:

  • Manage collection of delinquent consumer loans, auto finance loans and residential mortgages.
  • Issue demand letters and wage assignments when appropriate.
  • Assist Supervisor to initiate Power of sale on residential mortgage & repossession of collateral.
  • Review, recommend and forward uncollectible loans to collection agencies or for write off.
  • Assist branches in the collection of difficult overdrafts, including recommend legal action to collect
  • Monitor various reports.
  • Possess a college diploma with a focus in the area of business or finance.
  • Possess a minimum of 2-3  years’ experience in a financial institution in a lending role.
  • Strong service quality experience with excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge in the area of lending practices and policies, and the ability to understand lending & collections.
  • Strong knowledge of personal computers.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle branch staff issues and concerns.
  • Demonstrates a professional image that supports and reflects the “Be Libro” statements and promotes the culture and brand identity of the organization.
