TD Business Systems Analysis covers a mandate that includes (but isn’t limited to) proposing technical systems to accomplish business requirements enterprise-wide. These experts build relationships with business partners and other groups of diverse subject matter experts and stakeholders (both internal and external) to:

  • Plan + Elicit + Analyze + Document + Communicate +Manage system requirements;
  • Assess client needs and recommend the right technology; and
  • Offer operational and process-related analysis and support.

Job Description

About This Role

We are looking for someone to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to standards and frameworks. You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager. Here’s some of what you may be asked to perform:

  • Strong knowledge of HR work streams, integrations and associated systems (Workday and Peoplesoft)
  • Participate in Business Intake Meetings and provide valid information or updates
  • Partake in HR Intake Council meetings – advise if Technology personal is required for intake requests
  • Lead and facilitates HR Enterprise Technology Intake Requests from estimate to project closure – engage all Technology teams required to complete requested estimates
  • Prioritize and track estimates in-flight
  • Participate in estimate delivery processes and facilitates estimate completion – i.e. Host JRM sessions, understand document scope, timing and monies required from all required resources (TDL, BSA, Dev, Design and QE, Architecture, IT Security, etc.), complete required research and analysis for all areas work with (BSA, Dev, QE, etc.) to complete estimate, consolidates completed estimates, inclusive of follow-up with outstanding teams, etc.
  • Maintain estimate and project queues – host update meetings
  • Create integration cost template
  • Provide estimate status updates to Business partners
  • Work with Snr. Management to align resources to Intake requests estimates and approved projects
  • Communicate project status to the Business Intake teams
  • Partake in Tech requirement session to learn TD HR systems and other supporting work products and contribute in future sessions to assist with seed requests
  • Participate in BSA project sessions
  • Work with Business partners to prioritize and track approved Intake projects
  • Partake in RFP, RFI, discovery sessions – work with teams to complete these requests
  • Participate in fiscal Year Milestone meeting/s – capture fiscal projects roadmap for HR-Ent Tech, host Management take-aways and bring this to closure and track fiscal projects
  • Request cost center for projects (once Business approved and PM assigned), ensure technology cost center is set-up
  • Support and update Intake support processes

 

Requirements

What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Commitment to applying advanced to expert knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise, including design, development, testing and project management.
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.
  • Ability to work independently as the senior or lead system analyst and coach or guide team.
  • Experience and comfort level acting as a subject matter expert and consultant.
