Talent Acquisition Coordinator
 

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, we are looking for an aspiring Talent Acquisition professional that wants to facilitate the talent acquisition processes of an employee-oriented company in the industrial automation space, as we continue our growth across North America!

The talent acquisition coordinator will provide support to the talent acquisition consultants/specialists in all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure a best-in-class candidate and new hire experience.

 

What would a typical day look like?

  • Support recruiters in candidate screening, sourcing, and interview process
  • Take a lead role in driving and supporting the new hire onboarding program to ensure best in class new hire experience.
  • Draft and publish job postings on our Applicant Tracking System and various external job sites and publications
  • Regular auditing and monitoring of all job postings, on various job boards; ensuring visibility, accuracy, and alignment with TA metrics
  • Manage all assessments, backchecks, references, drug screening and technical testing for candidates
  • Support the development of recruitment standards, processes, documentation, and templates
  • Work closely with HR Operations to ensure ongoing review of templates, process, and tools to ensure compliance with legal, employment standards, and company policies and information
  • Support the development of new tools – (interview guides, intake templates, etc.)
  • Provide support in research assignments; competitive analysis, industry employee offerings and best practices (employee benefits, perks, compensation)
  • Manage the JMP Careers inbox. Replying to emails and/or forwarding to appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Manage the employee referral program
  • Supporting employer branding initiatives, partnering with marketing, helping to branch JMP as a best-in-class employer in the marketplace.
  • Drive and manage social media as part of support of employer branding
  • Talent SWAT Team: jump in to support the recruitment function however needed to succeed in overall Talent Acquisition objectives

 

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

  • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is an asset
  • One year of experience in an HR and/or Recruiting role would be an asset, ideally within a high growth environment
  • High-level of integrity, diplomacy, and tact, with an ability to always maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple demands – you thrive in an ever-changing environment
  • Strong Customer Service Orientation with both internal and external stakeholders. Passionate about creating positive candidate and new employee experiences.
  • Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and take on whatever task at hand to get the job done
  • Strong organizational skills and high degree of detail orientation along with a high sense of urgency
  • Relationship builder and all around ‘people-person’ who develops great working relationships and demonstrates a strong customer service orientation while representing JMP to the marketplace
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written) and able to interact with a diverse audience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent PC skills including the Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible – may be required to take on ad hoc assignments
