The Data Integration and Analytics teams fall within the Information Technology Services (ITS) department at LHSC. ITS is dedicated to advancing the quality and safety of care through enabling digital technologies and innovation. ITS provides a full suite of digital health, virtual care and technology solutions to LHSC, St. Joseph's Healthcare London, and nine Regional partner hospital sites. ITS also supports Ontario's largest single regional Hospital Information System (HIS), branded OneChart, across eleven hospitals with over 2,500 beds. ITS is also engaged in various initiatives with Ontario Health and the Ministry of Health to support efficient use of healthcare technologies in our region. Job Summary
What the Role is
Reporting to the Director, Data Integration, Enterprise and Corporate Solutions in ITS, the Manager, Data Integration and Analytics is accountable for the operations of the Interfaces/Integration, Programming, Clinical Reporting and OneChart Analytics Teams. The successful candidate will bring a unique blend of proven leadership skills, health information systems knowledge and technical expertise.
This role is accountable for day-to-day team activities, including the management of human and material resources, management of the team budgets, staffing and scheduling, development and support of a healthy workplace, and facilitation of improvement initiatives through change management. This role will involve assessing IT support requirements, developing sustainable support models, and ensuring continuous improvement and innovation. A major focus of this role is fostering effective working relationships and networks within ITS, as well as with other internal and external clinical, corporate, and technical subject matter experts, Ontario Health, the Ontario Ministry of Health, and partnerships with the Canadian and Ontario Collaboratives of Oracle Health hospitals.
The Manager is responsible for supporting the team in upholding industry best practices and departmental standards for data integration, technology and applications, including: applicable IT Service Management and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices, Project Management, Change Management, Software Development Lifecycle, and Data Management.
LHSC is committed to the principles of hybrid work and may offer this option to employees whose work can be performed in an alternate location, without adverse impact to the operations of the Hospital, inclusive of our Staff and Patient experience. Confirmation of hybrid work options available to you will be clarified upon hire and may be subject to change based on the duties required of your position. Successful candidates will be required to perform work within Ontario and must be available to work on location, as required.
NOTE: this role is required to be on-call, evenings and weekends on a rotational basis of approximately 1 week out of every 11 weeks

What You Will Bring with You
- Successful completion of a recognized baccalaureate degree program in a Health Care, Computer Science, Business or related discipline preferred
- Related post-graduate education preferred
- Current Certificate of Registration from a college recognized under the Regulated Health Professions Act is considered an asset
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in progressively more responsible leadership roles in a healthcare environment, preferably in an acute care academic teaching hospital
- Previous management experience in Clinical Informatics or Information Technology Services is considered an asset
- Preference and consideration will be given to active members of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) who have, or are in process of attaining the Canadian Health Executive (CHE) Select certification program
- Demonstrated clinical excellence experience including high quality and safe patient care and exceptional patient/family experiences
- Ability to effectively work with diversity, appreciating that different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics can bring richness to the challenge at hand
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
