COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST – B.C
STIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada. We have an immediate opening for a Commercial Solutions Specialist, working in B.C. Ideally, this person will live in the Greater Vancouver area. This is a remote position with significant travel expectations, reporting to the National Manager, Technical Services, Training and Commercial Solutions.WHY STIHL LIMITED:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide product and application training to support and grow the BC market
- Coordinate the sale of STIHL products between Professional Customers and STIHL Dealers
- Provide product field demonstrations, mainly throughout British Columbia
- Conduct training, dealer support, end-user safety, maintenance, and application training
- Regional/Provincial travel minimum 4 days per week of overnight travel by road and/or air, depending on where employee resides
- Reporting: field reports, trip reports, internal reporting
- Provide support to the Technical and Sales teams across Canada
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Outside Sales Experience
- Outdoor power equipment experience/knowledge
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Experience with group presentations
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- STIHL product knowledge an asset
- A post-secondary education and/or related training
- Ability to work well remotely and independently
- Microsoft Office program knowledge (CRM, Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.)
