Infrastructure Administrator

Vari-Form’s solution provides a lightweight, environmentally friendly, low-cost alternative to traditional stamped and welded components. We form parts using water and believe that the future of manufacturing and automotive can benefit from this technology.
The selected candidate will be joining the IT Team and will be responsible for the installation of equipment, the maintenance, evolutions and integrity of the network infrastructure. The main objective is to secure the network and systems to ensure its availability, stability and performance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the resolution of incidents or service failures related to the network infrastructure.
- Analyze network performance, identify malfunctions, and provide corrective action
- Plan, coordinate and execute the interventions necessary for the optimal functioning of the network.
- Write procedural and operational documents, keep them up to date and communicate them.
- Check that the deployments comply with the requirements.
- Manage relations with external service providers (suppliers, operators, manufacturer)
- Be available on occasion to perform tasks outside of regular hours.
Educational Requirements and Skills
- Education in computer science or the equivalent.
- More than 6 years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive practical experience and knowledge of the HP server platform and Aruba.
- Excellent working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IIS, VPN, VLAN, Active Directory, TCP/IP services, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure; routing, virtual networks, gateways, etc.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud computing, storage, virtualization, etc.)
- Advanced expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting tools for LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, multiple vlans, in an extended environment with multiple sites.
- Excellent command, spoken and written, of the English language.
