WEB & BOX OFFICE COORDINATOR
Join the Forest City Film Festival in its 10th year as we bring the best films connected to Southwestern Ontario and around the world to 50+ screenings and events. The festival takes place from October 23rd-November 1st.The Web and Box Office coordinator will use their excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure the festival website is kept up-to-date and to support the conversion of our web presence into our yearly box office system. The incumbent will facilitate the flow of information between the festival’s programming, our choice of CRM service (i.e. Elevent) and the published pages on the festival website. During the festival, the incumbent will be key in the execution of box office tasks such as issuing tickets, passes, and group discounts.
Responsibilities include:
Website and Web Content Moderation:
- Utilizing WordPress tools and services to keep festival website up-to-date
- Designing new webpages following the festival’s established style guide
- Creating and managing events, passes, and packages on the CRM platform Elevent
- Issuing and managing event passes for industry events
- Managing the festival’s video content inventory on YouTube
Box Office and Ticketing:
- Facilitating ticket, pass, and package sales leading up to and during the festival
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone with ticketing tasks
- Gathering and organizing sales data
Qualifications:
- Confidence with WSIWYG web editors
- Knowledge of CRM
- Excellent eye for user experience
- Knowledge of SEO practices
- Graphic Design experience an asset
- Candidates with knowledge of PHP will have priority
This is a full time contract position from June 23rd to November 1st at $20/hour for 30 hours a week.
