The Technical Analyst plays a key role in the procurement, installation, maintenance and support of computer servers and infrastructure software components. The Technical Analyst assists in the selection and provision of new products to meet the clinical and administrative business needs of the London hospitals. The Technical Analyst provides an advanced level of support, including assistance in establishing vendor support contracts, and often provides on-call support of critical infrastructure components.

Qualifications
As the ideal candidate, you have:
- Successful completion of a three (3) year community college diploma in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience as acceptable by the hospital
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum three (3) years recent, related experience in project management or systems support
- Advanced experience with industry-standard virtualized desktop/application environments
- Demonstrated advanced experience with VMware Horizon / Azure Virtual Desktop an asset
- Experience with clinical processes, nomenclature, and the hospital environment an asset
- Experience with Cerner clinical application systems an asset
- Strong skills in process-centric thinking
- Advanced commitment to customer service
- Advanced organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity
- Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Advanced ability to work cooperatively as a team and to facilitate meetings and workgroups
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care

Immunization Requirements
Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
