Associate Software Engineer- Canada Data Technologies

As an Associate Software Engineer on one of our core Data Technologies teams, you will work collaboratively with a team of software and data engineers to design, build and scale our record-breaking vehicle used car listing solutions that provide customers with high value-based search results for their buying experience. As the fastest growing car listing site, you will leverage the latest techniques and tools to maintain a very high performing solution that enriches the quality of information delivered to consumers across the globe.
As an Associate Software Engineer you will:
- Work in a team environment using Agile practices
- Develop high performing data streams and APIs to guarantee fast and accurate delivery
- Utilize Test Driven, Paired Programming and Continuous Integration development methods
- Constantly learn from and educate others to improve yourself and CARFAX
As a Software Engineer you will be expected to have:
- 0-3 years of experience with Object Orientated Programming
- Ability to solve complex problems and learn from mistakes
- Familiarity with database concepts
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
You will also need established experience in and/or knowledge of:
- Java
- Frameworks like Groovy and Spring
- MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.
- RabbitMQ
- Unit testing
- Git version control
- AWS
