Software Developer Supervisor

Libro has an opening for passionately accountable Software Developer Supervisor, in our London Admin office, to coordinate the development effort to develop and maintain enterprise software applications, providing credit union staff and credit union Owners with access to information in a cost effective and timely manner.
The Epic Human we are looking for will:
  • Lead, coach, assist, and motivate Software Developer Analysts, providing technical process and leadership, while promoting an environment that facilitates effective application development.
  • Schedule and assign resources, estimate project timelines, and ensure on time completion and project success. 
  • Specialize in the design and development of custom applications for deployment throughout the enterprise, ensuring the security of the internal network 
  • Architect software solutions that are open-ended to allow for growth of functionality as the credit union evolves, and which will minimize risk of future maintenance or redesign efforts. 
  • Analyze and interpret written business requirements and technical specifications and perform coding to written specifications
  • Analyze and investigate software problems reported to development team, and suggest potential corrections for issue
  • Schedule and assign resources appropriately to handle maintenance activities, estimate timelines, ensuring on time completion
  • Be responsible for performing maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
  • Research and Assessment/Support:
  • Research and review new technologies to understand and recommend where these technologies may help solve business requirements.
  • Act as high-level support in the escalation of computer and application related problems to assist Branch and other Administration office staff. 
  • Provide weekend and after hours support as required, for month-end and after hours problem resolution, and in support of code releases.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent. 8-10 years of work experience.
  • Possess strong skills in: .NET, VB, SQL, C/C++, ASP.NET, ASP, Java, C#, COM+, HTML, XML, SOAP
