Software Developer (iOS)

We’re hiring an iOS Developer!

The Company

RhinoActive is a small, but rapidly growing team that is largely comprised of extremely talented developers.  We work very closely with RedRhino to ensure that the products we build are designed well and contain effective marketing strategies to give our clients the best chance of success.  Our office is brand new and we’re sure you’ll love the environment.  We offer workstation budgets to allow you to customize your work area for comfort and productivity.

The Role

At RhinoActive, we place an emphasis on well architected code that can be reused and easily maintained. Our clients and products span a variety of industries, and as a result you’ll be expected to use best-practice methodologies and develop to industry standards on a per project basis. As an iOS developer, you will work closely with our design team to ensure that both the user interface and user experience are consistent with iOS design standards. Ideal candidates should have a passion for developing clean, aesthetically pleasing, and effective user interfaces.

Technology & Skills Required

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Extensive experience with the following: Objective-C, Swift
• A working understanding of web services and APIs
• Familiarity with common software design patterns
• An understanding of iOS and Android operating systems
• Version control (git), and Issue Tracking (Jira)
• Experience with relational databases.

At least one year of professional experience is preferred, but exceptions will be made for highly qualified candidates.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
