Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Remote - Canada

Description

 

The role of the Search Engine Marketing Specialist is to utilize customer & industry insights, historical trends and published content to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that deliver results aligned to key business objectives. You will be accountable for lead generation growth activities for Info-Tech Research Group in accordance with the marketing plan and you will be responsible for SEM activities that drive revenue growth.

We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of SEM tools and tactics and be able to create integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. SEM Specialists will work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as development), and agencies (such as Google) to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

We are open to applicants working remotely in Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute on digital marketing campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Execute tests? collect and analyze data? identify trends and insights
  • Achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns using analysis of data
  • Track? report? and analyze PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Effectively manage campaign expenses by staying on budget? appropriately estimating monthly costs? and reconciling any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth tactics
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners (Google, Microsoft, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly creative with proven track record of devising digital campaigns that engage, motivate, and convert
  • A passion for SEM and identify new opportunities to drive growth
  • 3+ years proven experience working in a performance marketing environment
  • Well-versed in performance marketing? conversion? and online customer acquisition
  • Continually current on trends and best search engine marketing practices
  • Adept in and experienced with website analytics tools (e.g.? Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML? CSS? and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Google Ads certified
  • Microsoft Ads certified

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot
  • Experience with Google Optimize
  • Working knowledge of HTML? CSS? and JavaScript development and constraints
