Since the start of the pandemic, the trade show landscape has been changing, and there has been a shift toward the incorporation of hybrid events. Resultantly, clients are seeking our help for their digital marketing solutions, virtual trade show exhibits, and virtual events. We are helping our clients to design websites that behave like exhibits… virtually.

stevensE3 is seeking a web designer/developer for full time employment to work with our customers, exhibit designers and sales team to develop and broaden our product solutions thereby remaining a trend-setting exhibition industry provider.

 
Who We are Looking For:

We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter, can work independently, is keen to try new things, and has an innate ability to work collaboratively with a team of designers and marketers to develop something new and unique. We want cool and exciting! Responsibilities will emphasize the design and development of websites tailored to the exhibition marketing medium. Your strengths are in the ability to design within the WordPress platform to create seamless and responsive user experiences regardless of a user’s device platform.

You’re not afraid to try something new or take on challenges in new and innovative ways. You have an ability to communicate ideas and share new concepts with the team. You have a confidence in your work that is demonstrated by results.

 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Design within the WordPress content management system to develop seamless, responsive user experiences regardless of device platform
  • Continuous updates and management of existing sites including site updates, maintenance of themes and various plugins
  • Design of graphic elements that will be embedded within the virtual environment within the site
  • Continuously seek ways to improve user experience within the platform
  • Seek and suggest ways to enhance product offerings to clients
  • Work collaboratively with our exhibit designers and sales team to develop interactive, immersive experiences for our customer’s customer
Your Skills Set:
  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or Multimedia
  • Knowledge of software development tools and experience in developing customized WordPress sites
  • 3 Years of experience with web design and development including metrics integration
  • Excellent skills in PHP, HTML, and CSS
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to be client facing in a professional manner
  • Ability to achieve individual responsibilities in a highly integrated team environment
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
  • UX/UI design experience
  • Web design and development capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent fluency and communication skills both written and verbal within the English language
  • Ability to work under severe time constraints

This position is a newly created full-time position offered in London, Canada and is open to Canadian residents. The work is highly collaborative but can be remote at present. However, ultimately it will be at our London office when it is safe to congregate again.
