Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Operations Specialist is a highly collaborative team member, working with various business units and the Marketing team to ensure that our marketing technology stack is supporting the outstanding Sifton customer experience and driving new business. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional teams with a focus on digital communication, marketing automation and customer journey enhancement.
 

You’ll ensure data is leveraged effectively and work together with the Marketing team to build a strong operational hub that supports a fast-moving organization. Your efforts will have lasting impact on internal teams, our prospects, and all Sifton customers.

About the Role

  • In collaboration with business units and Marketing team, implement integrated email marketing campaigns and related tactics to align with the customer journey.
  • Maintain prospect and customer lists, ensuring proper information flow and data integrity.
  • Act as lead acquisition subject matter expert, operate and configure the technical solutions required to deliver increased marketing automation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related.
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing tactics and leverage analytics (Salesforce, website, social media, email marketing) to visually communicate progress against department goals and action on insights gathered.
  • Ensure alignment and integration of marketing technology stack.
  • Maintain and report on all digital assets including website content, errors, redirects, landing page locations, etc.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve user experience and conversion.
  • Create and maintain new standard procedures, identify process gaps, efficiencies, refinements and establish new process.
  • Some technical and creative writing and presentation creation.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Post secondary education with a focus on Digital Marketing/Communications or related discipline, combined with 3-5 years of working experience.
  • Related work experience in campaign execution and operations, marketing automation, digital communications and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing communication strategies (traditional, digital, and events) and content marketing.
  • Thrives in a highly collaborative and results-focused environment.
  • Data focused and project management minded.
  • Passion for continued education and mastering new technologies within the Marketing industry.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in the use of tools such as Google Analytics, Wordpress, Salesforce, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of report development/requirements.
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to handle multiple projects at the same time. Strict attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
  • Client service orientation, professionalism and excellent judgment.
