Let us give you some context - coming together to connect construction

In Trackunit, we’re committed to construction - one of the largest industries in the world. Over the past two decades, Trackunit has been pioneering technological progress within construction. Today, we are not only a leading IoT provider (Internet of Things) but a thought leader, supporting and driving the agenda for an entire industry on a global scale.

We believe in taking a people approach in everything we do. Being human-centric is not restricted to our products - it’s a way of life at Trackunit. We’re proud to be a truly global team that puts our people first. Our colleagues get together in hubs spread across the globe, but we embrace the idea of working remotely and in environments that inspire you. Everything we do, we do to eliminate downtime and build the most useful industry for the world.

Why you should choose Trackunit

  • A place and a community in an agile growth SaaS business with a start-up mentality and with possibilities to grow internally in the company.
  • Great development opportunities through i.e. training, coaching, and mindfulness. We facilitate it through Impact Conversations, where we 1. together shape a learning path every quarter and 2. touch upon your impact on our triple focus; impacting yourself, impacting relations and impacting the organisation/strategy.
  • International environment with regular check-ins and social events across teams, departments and borders.
  • Flexibility and hybrid working is not just a kliche to us or something we state in a jobposting. We do offer you a flexible setup and believe that you best can structure how your routines look like in order for you to balance everything in your life.
  • We are on the journey towards eliminating downtime, all together – and all our colleagues that are a part of Trackunit are acknowledged and a huge part of reaching our goals. Because of that, we offer you to be part of our long-term incentive program at Trackunit.

Every day is different, but you can expect to:

  • You’re a people manager. You inspire, lead, and motivate team members to see their full potential and you will get energized from this. You will do this through impact conversations and regular 1:1’s, where you will touch base, provide and get constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate the development process from planning to demos and onwards through retrospectives.
  • Facilitate the ideation and definition of new features. We often co-create with our customers and take pride in breaking down complex problems into software that is easy to use.
  • Define and maintain the strategic direction for your team in close collaboration with product management
  • Over time you will be an advocate for The Trackunit Way - which is our take on how to lead people and develop products in a fast growing SaaS company.

Who are you?

  • Experience in leading and technically managing a software development team.
  • Foster an inclusive collaborative environment, strive for high performance while maintaining a healthy work life balance.
  • At home in an agile environment where your team is responsible for how useful our features are in the hands of our customers.
  • You have a heart for people and want to develop further in a people leader role. At Trackunit, we believe that through self-awareness and consciousness about how you are impacting others, you are becoming a better people leader.

Don't meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we're looking for ideally, but if you're super excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply.

What happens from here - overview of the recruitment process

The hiring process includes:

  • Meet and greet - likely on a virtual video call. Here you will meet the hiring manager and a colleague from our People & Talents team, and we’re looking forward to it!
  • Personality based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment (we use Hogan) prior to the interview. In the interview, you will first of all get feedback, but the aim is primarily to have a dialogue about where you thrive, what we offer etc.
  • Assignment-specific interview. Based on the learnings from the process you will be given a case to prepare. You will present the case to the hiring manager, a senior manager, relevant new colleagues and the People & Talents colleague. Preferably in person.
  • Offer presentation and walk through.
