Marketing Copywriter- 100% Remote

 

We’re looking for a Marketing Copywriter to develop marketing and sales content that positions and promotes our research in exciting new ways. In this role, you’ll be accountable for developing content that helps us improve and maintain content standards throughout the organization. Someone who’s a creative thinker, and can transform complex technology ideas into stories across mediums that connect with our audiences will be ideal for this role.

You’ll help us build campaign content, inspire new ways of writing, and act as a strategic advisor for external content.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

While content creation will primarily be for the website, emails and sales material, additional writing responsibilities may be identified. You should have a strong grasp of the English language and be able to produce engaging content from technical subject matter. A high-level understanding of technology and the IT Industry will be critical for success.

Responsibilities Include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Writing and creating marketing and sales content: Using our research to produce web, email and sales content. Different versions of assets (short & long versions) will be produced and will be used to support marketing and sales cycles, and growth opportunities.
  • Ghost-writing: Interviewing internal thought leaders to gather expert insights and produce content including web content, bylines, quotes, case studies and commentary will be required from time to time.
  • Writing standards and coaching: Helping build a robust brand writing guide and helping Analysts improve research copy will be required.
  • Other ad hoc requests to support marketing and sales content.

 

COMPETENCIES/KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • 3+ years’ experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably in a B2B or technology context
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing compelling and creative copy for different channels
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
  • Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent portfolio of work
