JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting new opportunity has opened within our operations department and we are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented person to fill this new position. As a CAD Designer at Mayne, you will be responsible for creating 3D models, technical drawings, and renderings. Direction will be given for many of the projects, but this is also an opportunity to demonstrate your skills as a designer and creator. You should be organized, ambitious, and willing to embrace new challenges. Problem solving skills are an absolute must for someone to excel in this position. If you feel you have the right mix of skills, experience, and positive attitude, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create concept drawings and idea boards
  • 3D modelling and technical drawings
  • CAD renderings and animations
  • Instructions and product specification sheets
  • Document processes and standards
  • Assist in product launches

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College diploma in industrial design, drafting technology, or similar program
  • 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
  • At least 3 years experience using SolidWorks
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficient with the Office 365 suite of products
