What you’ll be doing

This position is responsible for the smooth operation of Buckland’s IT Infrastructure. This includes design, implementation, analysis, research, and problem solving of Infrastructure systems. Senior Infrastructure Analyst will be researching new technologies and staying up to date in technical knowledge.

You will be responsible for

• Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Lead network architecture, planning, and design initiatives including LAN, WAN, VLAN, MPLS, VPN, and hybrid cloud networking (Azure/AWS).
• Support and optimize firewall and perimeter security solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto) in collaboration with Cyber Security team.
• Implement and maintain secure remote access technologies (SSL VPN, IPsec, L2TP).
• Manage and support Windows and Linux enterprise systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, file services, and identity and access management (NPS, PKI, SSL/TLS).
• Administer and optimize virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Support Microsoft infrastructure platforms including Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Plan and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication).
• Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation including network diagrams and configurations.
• Support DevOps initiatives through automation and scripting.
• Mentor junior team members, model best practices, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

What we need from you

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure and networking.
• Strong experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019+, Microsoft Exchange, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Virtualization - VMware vSphere and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure; hybrid cloud experience is an asset.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft enterprise technologies including Active Directory, IIS, file servers, and identity services.
• Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN design, VLANs, Layer 3 segmentation, redundancy, and advanced switching protocols.
• • Working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto networking technologies.
• Strong background in firewall, VPN, and network security technologies.
• • • Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, sandboxing, and micro-segmentation
    • IPsec VPNs and secure network design principles

• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Phyton).
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and Zero-Trust architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
