Job Description

In the role of Technical Analyst - Retail & Omnichannel, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high level solution proposal and design artifacts. You will produce high quality deliverables, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. You will collaborate with our sales and marketing team and assist with onboarding and implementation of new customers on our RI Commerce platform. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle related to retail systems and experience implementing Back Office, Point of Sale, ERP and/or E-Commerce systems.
  • At least 4 years of experience in requirements gathering, impact analysis, conducting workshops, solution design and project coordination for retail systems implementations or upgrades
  • Regular direct communication with customers and partners, as well as coordinating internal efforts with our business development leads and engineering teams
  • Solid understanding of retail systems and processes including merchandising, payments, loyalty, order management and fulfillment

This position will require occasional travel within North America. Candidates will need to be located in North America, ideally in Ontario Canada.
