Configuration Specialist - Paid Internship
 

Pulse is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to be a Configuration Specialist to join our growing team. The platform you will be configuring is Healthie™ 2.0: our cloud-based evidence generation solution, built to meet the needs of those with cancer, rare diseases, and chronic conditions. You will play a critical role in configuring and maintaining our platform, ensuring its optimal functionality and performance. You will collaborate with clinical, data science, and software engineering teams to understand project requirements and implement platform configurations to meet their needs. You will actively contribute to the design and implementation of disease registries, learn about data collection processes, and gain exposure to real-world evidence generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure the platform to align with client-specific study protocols, data collection form definitions, and workflows.
  • Assist in the creation and configuration of data entry screens and data validation rules.
  • Identify ways to streamline platform configuration to reduce configuration errors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand client requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Conduct thorough testing of platform configurations to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues or system anomalies, coordinating with the software engineering team when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the intersection of healthcare and technology, with a desire to contribute to real-world evidence generation.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a good eye for accuracy (you can find problems in data).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Full-time; option for part-time during the academic year

This is a full-time paid internship with the option to work part-time during the academic year.
