Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our computing environment. This includes providing onsite, remote, and software system support, identifying system improvements, installing and configuring systems, monitoring system performance, and actioning issues with professionalism and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and courteous customer support
  • Take phone calls and document tickets in our management software
  • Connect to client systems remotely and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 issues
  • Perform virus scanning and remediation
  • Troubleshoot email, network, and internet issues
  • Provide on-site and remote support for Keystone clients

Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least 1 year of customer support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft, network-vendor licensing, and software acquisition
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008-2019 and related Enterprise applications (Exchange, anti-spam, anti-virus, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with network security devices, protocols configuration, and support (firewalls, managed switches, routers, VPN, VLAN, Virtual Servers, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with fundamental network protocols (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN design, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with server peripheral hardware (UPS, backup drives, KVM/vKVM, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud solutions like Office 365; Monitoring platforms like N-Able is an asset
  • Experience troubleshooting networks is an asset
