We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team.

Your Focus

  • An expert storyteller who can create engaging social media content that resonates with our target demographic and helps build the company’s social media presence and online communities
  • Manage the organic and paid social media strategy and identify opportunities for new channels, types of content, and formats.
  • Set creative direction for social media content, and advocate for new formats and creative opportunities while having a deep understanding of our brand voice and audience(s) for who you will be developing social media content for
  • Build rapport with our brand's online community, plus other like-minded brands, influencers and creators.
  • Be comfortable in owning video content creation for Instagram, TikTok, and other areas where applicable.
  • Work with the creative team to schedule content from social media content calendars. Ensure content is published on time, with no errors (quality assurance after posts go live)
  • Support in planning, executing and overseeing surprise & delight moments for our brand’s community
  • Support the development of community management strategies and content calendars when needed.
  • Through social listening, identify trends and opportunities that our brand can meaningfully contribute to. Be prepared to jump into conversations and comment sections with friendly banter, witty responses, and helpful information
  • Pitch content ideas identified from social listening and assist in the creation of approved ideas

Who you are

  • 6+ years of social media and community-building experience
  • Have a passion for what’s trending, excellent and relevant across a wide range of industries online
  • Spends a lot of time on the internet and can identify which trends/opportunities are best suited for our brand
  • Well-versed in the following social platforms: TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • The social listening experience is an asset as well as experience with a social media management platform is required.
  • Experience in influencer and ambassador platforms (ex: Grin, Tagger, etc.) is preferred
