Content Analyst - Spanish

Diply is currently seeking a Content Analyst to join our Spanish Content Team. In this role, you will be act as a research and information expert for external clients as well as other media organization staff. You’ll be responsible for finding and researching Hispanic/Latino trends before they go viral, as well as providing quality control, evaluation and analysis to all media content written by the Spanish team—this includes stories about parenting, pets, uplifting news, and feel-good moments.

You will support your team by developing the best, most viral ideas to be passed to writers who will go on to create engaging content in the Spanish category. To be great at this role you will need to understand web metrics like click-through rates and shares, as well as where and how Hispanic/Spanish viral content originates. You need to have a voracious appetite to learn more about how things go viral and why. Especially the why. We are looking for people who are proudly data and marketing nerds. Algorithm changes, audience shifts, and a bit of chaos don’t faze you at all.

Your Skills and Experience
• You have a bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce, or business administration.
• You have first hand experience and familiarity with Latino culture
• You are a native Spanish speaker
• You have experience writing Spanish content
• You have used Google Analytics to track audiences and content performance.
• You are research-oriented, and you understand how content trends across social media platforms.
• You may have gained this experience through working in digital marketing or social media.
• You are familiar with concepts like CTR, SEO, target audience, demographics, psychographics, personas, and bounce rate.
• You are detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You have a fantastic knowledge of current Latino popular culture.
• You know what’s trending, what will tug at people’s heartstrings, and what people want to see in their Facebook newsfeeds.
• You have worked in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• You are a creative self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and working in collaboration with others.
• You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new subjects.
• You are comfortable navigating the Internet and already know the best places to find uplifting stories.
• You have at least one year of experience in the industry.
