The Roadmap 

The Sales Development Representative role is focused on growing our customer base by identifying and qualifying new deals. You will effectively communicate our value proposition and intrigue potential customers to learn more about our products from a Regional Sales Manager. You will generate new business opportunities through continuous market research and outreach efforts. You are highly motivated, results-driven, and resilient in the face of a challenge. You also possess strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. This is an entry-level role.

 

Performance Specs

  • Identify and establish strong relationships with prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities. 
  • New Business Development: make 25-40 calls/emails daily to cold leads, and warm leads.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prospects and nurture the sales cycle through to qualification.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new customers.
  • Schedule appointments between potential customers and Regional Sales Managers ensuring a smooth transition. 
  • Respond to prospective customers’ inquiries via telephone, e-mail, video conferencing or other preferred methods of contact. 
  • Effectively handle prospects objections over the telephone.
  • Track progress of all leads and maintain accurate information in our CRM database. 
  • Provide customer and product feedback to Regional Sales Managers.

 

Preferred Mods

  • 1-3 years of experience in an Inside Sales, Business Development, or similar role.
  • Experience in the Automotive field is an asset.
  • Proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience selling to business decision makers and managers.
  • Experience consultatively pitching a solution to targeted client needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manages time exceptionally well with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Results-oriented and driven to overcome customer objections.
  • Highly energetic and confidently engages with people.
  • Experience using CRM software, HubSpot preferred.


Performance Package 

Salary: $35,000-37,500/year (+uncapped commission)

On-Target-Earnings: $45,000/year

The salary range listed is for a Canadian employee. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to salary, eligible AutoVerify employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
