VP Consulting, Data& Analytics

Description

We are seeking a VP Consulting to lead our Data & Analytics practice and own the responsibility for the practice growth and profitability within Info-Tech. The VP will play a key role in growing the organization by defining solution offerings, securing additional projects, owning client relationships, driving proposal and project completion, and developing team members.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Consulting leadership team to build and execute strategic plans and go-to-market activity that drive practice growth.
• Responsible for practice structure; establish, communicate, and enforce values, policies, and procedures; training, coaching, and development programs. 
• Provide oversight to internal process improvements and develop practice operational strategies. 
• Establish practice financial strategies by forecasting and anticipating requirements and trends and distributing resources.
• Increase revenue by exploring new and additional services, developing, and presenting cost-benefit analyses of new and additional services to senior leaders within the practice and the broader practice. 
• Support the Research organization with insights gleaned from client engagements; encourage and partake in cross collaboration with research teams. 
• Ability to drive large-scale, complex projects.
• Accountable for Data & Analytics practice operations and P&L.
• Ability to instill functional & operational excellence across teams.
• Team Building / Bench Development / Succession planning.

Experience:

• Possess a minimum of 10 years leadership experience in a management consulting practice.
• 10+ years of progressive business and/or consulting experience delivering and managing data and analytics projects including scoping and planning, team management, delivery development, execution, oversight, project status reporting, client expectation management and communication. 
• Demonstrable and practical experience in the Data and Analytics domain including but not limited to: governance, operating models, management, as well as strategy and roadmap development. 
• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and building high performing consulting teams.
• Demonstrated experience with client interaction for both sales and delivery.
• Expertise with strategic consulting frameworks and their financial and operational principles.

Skills:

• Client Interaction & Facilitation: Build rapport and effectively communicate with clients over the phone and through facilitated in-person sessions.
• Project Management: Manage project scope and budget effectively and report on project progress in a timely manner.? Lead challenging negotiations, while managing scope and client expectations. 
• Written Communication: Craft and word deliverables in a clear and concise manner, for a polished, professional, and graphically appealing outcome. 
• Presentation Skills: Present and influence client stakeholders through the presentation of Info-Tech proposals and deliverables. 
• Business Development: Generate advisory sales leads through interactions with clients (i.e. analyst calls or project work) and proposal of Info-Tech services to fulfill client needs. 
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment, and mentor/lead others through change. 

Additional Comments:

• Must be eligible to obtain a TN Visa 
• Willingness to travel, approximately 10-25%
