Job Description

Manager, IT Program Delivery

Description

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving transformation through technology? We’re looking for a Manager, IT Program Delivery to lead a high-performing team of Business Analysts and spearhead cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of our organization.

This is more than a traditional program management role — it’s an opportunity to own the full delivery lifecycle, optimize business processes, and bridge the gap between IT and business strategy. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are ready to make a measurable impact, we want to hear from you.

What you will be responsible for:

  • End-to-End Program Delivery:
    • Drive the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives — from discovery and prioritization to deployment and post-launch optimization.
    • Proactively manage risks, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Strategic Portfolio & Demand Management:
    • Develop and maintain a roadmap of IT and business initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budget constraints.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, urgency, and available capacity, ensuring that project resources are optimally allocated.
  • Business Process Optimization & Innovation:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and introduce scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
    • Drive adoption of technology enhancements to improve operational efficiency and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the key liaison between business units, IT, and external partners, ensuring that project goals, scope, and timelines are communicated effectively.
    • Build and maintain strong business partnerships to ensure that IT solutions align with organizational needs and stakeholder expectations.
  • Agile Delivery & Framework Facilitation:
    • Champion the adoption of Agile or Scrum methodologies across projects, ensuring iterative progress and continuous feedback.
    • Lead Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
    • Tailor delivery frameworks to project complexity while maintaining agility and responsiveness.
  • Resource Strategy & Oversight:
    • Build and mentor a high-performing team of BAs and contractors.
    • Identify skill gaps and ensure the right mix of talent is in place to meet evolving business needs.

What You bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in IT with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager including directly managing and building high performing teams.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage and influence people outside the Business Analyst team.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies (certifications a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivery.
  • Ability to lead the team to accomplish goals on time and work well in a team environment.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Comprehensive Benefit Plan and RRSP Matching
  • Competitive Vacation Policy
  • Fitness Subsidy
  • Training and Development Program
  • Paid Charity Day and Regular Company Fun Events
  • StarTech.com Product Discount
  • Bonus Plan
