DESCRIPTION

As a Sales Consultant on the direct sales team based out of London, ON office location, you will identify, source and close prospects that are a good fit for the company.  Using strong consultative selling skills, you will balance contacting warm inbound leads and driving self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with our sales engineering team, marketing and executive leadership team.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Position the value of LBMX’s marketplace technology to medium-sized independent businesses.
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to help them learn how the right technology investment can grow their business.
  • Manage a pipeline of self-sourced and inbound leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers
  • Qualify prospects’ business goals to determine if LBMX can be a strategic investment for their business’ growth
  • Close business with new and existing buying group customers at or above quota level
  • Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
  • Bring to fore your prospecting skills, sales planning, negotiations, objections handling and closing skills to further our company’s growth goals.
  • Enhance your presentation skills, sales motivation and professionalism while forming relationships with best-in-class companies from the industry.

  • Have a positive outlook and willing to work hard taking responsibility for their own successes and failures
  • Carry a polite, respectful and professional demeanor to help in consultative selling and closing
  • Are top performers in their current role and make customer service their priority
  • Ready to embrace the challenges of success and instead of complaining look for innovative ways to get things done
  • Possess an aptitude to learn new sales and marketing approaches
  • Have strong verbal phone etiquettes and business writing skills for drafting powerful sales emails and client responses

Nice to have (but not mandatory):

  • Prior inside sales, cold-calling work experience
  • Experience selling an enterprise software solution (SaaS)
  • Ability to use standard business software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • College or University Graduate
