Fanshawe College is undergoing an exciting multi-phase ERP transformation through Fanshawe One powered by Workday, a strategic initiative aimed at modernizing our core administrative systems for employees and students. The project was designed with 3 phases: Phase 1 Core HCM and Finance, Phase 2 Advanced Planning and Phase 3 Student. With Phase 1 complete, we have created a Sustainment Team to support the HCM and Finance modules. As each phase completes, the Sustainment Team will need to support all live modules.
We are seeking dedicated professionals to join the Sustainment Team and support the ongoing success of our Fanshawe One powered by Workday implementation. As we transition from legacy systems, this team plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, continuous improvement, and user support.
Summary:
Under the general direction of the Workday Sustainment Lead - HCM, the Workday Sustainment Analyst - HCM supports the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Workday human resource modules to ensure they meet organizational HR needs and enhance user experience. This role involves assisting with HR projects, integrating Workday into existing workflows, and working with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance. The Analyst helps manage employee data, ensures its accuracy and compliance, generates reports and dashboards to aid HR decision-making, and conducts system testing and quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy, functionality, and compliance with HR processes. Additionally, the Analyst helps improve operational processes, maintains standard operating procedures, and provides support to end-users.
Qualifications:

Post-secondary 3 year diploma/degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 5 years human resources experience with reports, analysis and sound understanding of human resource operations in a human resource information system (HRIS) context

Minimum 2 years experience providing technical and functional support in a Workday environment, including configuration, reporting, and supporting Human Capital modules

Experience with Core HCM, Time and Attendance, Talent Management, Benefits Administration preferred

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Familiarity with union and non-unionized working environments would be an asset

Knowledge of HR modules and reporting tools

Understanding of HR procedures, policies, and collective agreements

Experience in supporting HR-related projects and enhancing operational processes for efficiency

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders

Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail

Ability to adapt to changes and contribute to process improvement
