Job Details

CARFAX Canada is a growing, fast-paced environment that is constantly innovating existing products and creating new ones! We have many ideas and strong build teams but need someone to help develop and manage best practices to increase productivity and collaboration across our various build teams. The Agile Program Manager will facilitate team development, productivity and health, including:

    • Manage and facilitate Squad and Agile team meetings
    • Identify and establish metrics on team health and productivity
    • Manage and coordinate team metrics, velocity, progress and reporting
    • Identify and facilitate Squad and Agile best practices
    • Identify and work to resolve conflicts impacting team health and performance
    • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure clear communication and
    • Organize and facilitate backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum
    • Proactively develop and maintain team standards.
    • Facilitate discussion and conflict

The successful candidate will be considered an expert in the fields of agile development and project management, have excellent logic and problem-solving skills, and, more than anything else, possess a drive to get things done. We need an individual that puts the team before themselves. They will also help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, or working towards this designation
  • PMP certification preferred
  • More than 2 years of direct experience in agile development and or project management
  • University degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, values and procedures
  • Ability to utilize tools such as Confluence, Slack, and JIRA
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated 
  • Team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse personality types
  • Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills applicable to technical teams and business teams.
  • Excellent estimating and forecasting
