100% Virtual Role

B2B Business Development Executive builds relationships with enterprise software vendors in order to have them join the SoftwareReviews community. You will work with these vendors to collect reviews, promote the Software Reviews platform, and sell solutions to the vendor sales, product, and marketing teams. There will be 4-5 weeks of training and development period which entails supporting tenured team members by booking meetings, shadowing during the full sales cycle, and driving data collection.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within your assigned territory, consisting of software categories and vendors, using various outreach methods (ie. email, phone, social)? 
  • Deliver compelling presentations to vendor marketing, sales, analyst relations, and product departments to encourage data collection and sell SoftwareReviews products and services. 
  • Utilize SoftwareReviews CRM (SalesForce) to manage sales/task workflow, including uploading new contacts, logging appointments, monitoring progress, and ensuring completion. 
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations by customizing PowerPoint presentations to align with target audience(s). 
  • Support the growth of SoftwareReviews by creatively identifying new products, services, and outreach techniques. 
  • Build relationships within vendors and software categories to develop and grow a network within your territories. 


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • 3+ years front line sales experience, preferably gained in a B2B sales environment with a consistent track record of hitting sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, task oriented, and results-driven. 
  • Must have proven experience working with MS Suite of products and be adept at using internal technologies and systems.
  • A continuous learning mindset and eagerness to give and receive feedback are key success factors for the role.

  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess prospect/client needs and provide actionable, outcome-based business/technical advice along with access to appropriate Info-Tech services to support achievement of business results. 
  • Strategic: Ability to evaluate emerging and longer-term opportunities and threats strategically and systematically to meeting customer needs. 
  • Quick Learner: Deep intellectual curiosity about the effect of customer and product insights on the business landscape & passion for learning.
