Summary

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer Co-op Student to join our dynamic team at Aspire Food Group. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions that support our mission of sustainable food production and community empowerment. Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications.
• Work closely with the IT team members to deliver software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of existing software systems.
• Identify and fix bugs or issues in the software to ensure smooth operation.
• Write and maintain documentation for developed software and applications.
• Conduct software testing and validation to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Stay up to date with new programming languages, tools, and technologies relevant to the role.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database management and web application development.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development tools.
• Ability to analyze problems and find solutions
• Familiarity with an App deployment process is an asset
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Previous experience in software development through internships, co-op, or academic projects is an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
