VIDEOGRAPHER/CONTENT CREATOR - Remote in London or GTA

 

Who is a Videographer/Content Creator?

The Videographer/Content Creator uses its passion for storytelling through video, and its strong design skillset in video production and editing, to capture high quality video content and editing of footage. They work closely with the team to produce visually engaging media that aligns with our brand guidelines and business objectives. This job is pivotal in creating compelling video content, from conceptual storyboarding to editing to support all marketing, corporate communications, and strategic initiatives.

 

What will you be doing?

• Storyboards, captures, produces, and edits high-quality, visually appealing video content (and stills) for various departments' marketing needs, including internal and external digital marketing campaigns, organic social media, and associate communications.
• Creatively enhances videos with graphics, animations, and audio to optimize engaging, high performing content while adhering to brand standards.
• Interprets creative marketing briefs, brainstorms, and implements final revisions to ensure the final product meets project requirements from concept to completion, and prepares final outputs rescaled to suit a variety of channels.
• Captures short- and long-form video footage, sound files, and photography on location at shoots to be implemented across multiple platforms
• Sets up and tears down cameras, audio equipment, lighting, and props
• Communicates with and directs talent on-set as needed
• Maintains equipment and troubleshoots any problems that may arise
• Works collaboratively with the creative team, brand and digital marketing leads, internal subject matter experts, and/or external partners to ideate, plan, storyboard, and prepare for video and/or photo shoots
• Travel frequently to GoodLife locations

 

Do you have what it takes?

• Diploma or professional certification
• 1-2 years in a corporate or agency environment
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop/Lightroom) and Microsoft Office
• Expertise in video editing and production
• Experience working with professional cameras, audio equipment, and lighting gear
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of brand development as it pertains to video
