We are seeking a Clinical Trials Research Coordinator to join our research team and support the execution of clinical studies. This role is central to ensuring trials are conducted ethically, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with investigators, sponsors, and participants to help improve patient care.

 

Rate of Pay: $33.64 -$42.05 

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: 1 Year (Possibility for Renewal)

 

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned clinical trials
  • Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants
  • Obtain informed consent and guide participants through study procedures
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate study data
  • Monitor participant progress and report adverse events
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory documents 
  • Serve as liaison between investigators, sponsors, and monitors
  • Support site visits, audits, and reporting requirements

     

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor?s degree in relevant field of study, equivalent education and experience will be considered 

     

  • Completion of clinical trials management program (preferred)

     

  • Two years of recent experience conducting clinical research studies - oncology preferred 

     

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory guidelines

     

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.

     

  • Include soft skills required, i.e. interpersonal, communication, organizational time management, attention to detail, prioritization, etc.

     

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care

     

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC

     

  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
