Job Description

Intermediate Project Manager (Marketing & Communications)

About Us

We’re a boutique brand, marketing, and communications agency that punches way above our weight. Our work spans industries, platforms, and audiences but one thing stays constant: we’re obsessed with delivering strategic creative that moves people, builds brands, and makes a difference. We only work for good people and good organizations.

About You

You’re an organizational wizard with a creative soul. You can juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat and you get just as excited building a timeline and reconciling a budget as you do brainstorming a digital campaign or coordinating a video shoot. Wrangling cats is your specialty. You’re fluent in digital marketing (strategy and execution), understand (and believe in) brand, and you know how to bring the right people, tools, and ideas together to get the job done right.

What You'll Do

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage marketing, branding, creative, web, and communications projects from start to finish.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Share day-to-day client contact on your projects.

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • With the support of your teammates who specialize in strategy, design, digital integration and creative copywriting, develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including content marketing, paid media, SEO, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Analyze and report on digital performance and optimize accordingly.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table that align with brand goals and audience needs.

Team & Client Collaboration:

  • Act as the bridge between clients, creative teams, and partners.
  • Keep everyone informed, inspired, and moving forward.
  • Be ready for occasional travel to client meetings, events, and shoots.

Administrative Support:

  • Managing invoicing and budget reconciliation for your clients and projects
  • Plan the occasional bowling tournament

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
  • A background (work experience or education) in marketing and/or communications.
  • Solid hands-on experience with digital marketing strategy and platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, email marketing, SEO basics, etc.).
  • Strong communicator (written, verbal, emoji).
  • Hyper-organized but flexible when it matters.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at once with competing priorities.
  • A love of learning.

Nice to Haves (a.k.a. How You’ll Really Impress Us)

  • Postsecondary education from a reputable college or university in marketing or communications
  • Proficient with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides—you love a tidy shared folder).
  • Google Analytics 4 Certification.
  • Google Ads Certification.
  • Meta Blueprint Certification.
  • Familiarity with major email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Familiarity with Canva and/or Figma

Why Join Us?

  • Small but mighty team: Your voice and ideas matter here.
  • Variety: No two days (or two clients) are the same.
  • Growth: Room to flex your skills and grow your career.
  • Perks: Competitive salary, medical and dental benefits, flexible remote work, bonus summer fridays, sweet tech.
  • We really do believe in life before work.
  • We’re nice people.

Note this is an 18 month contract with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
