Sr. Specialist, Global Talent Analytics
 

We are looking for a Sr. Specialist, Global Talent Analytics. This role understands the business impact of meaningful global HR data to optimize efficiency and quality of data, informing insights to drive business decisions and actions for the achievement of our collective Lifeco business imperatives.

 

This role will leverage critical thinking and innovation to maximize value of existing reporting and analytic processes with new technologies, and/or identify, develop, and implement new products and solutions, supporting our global companies in advancing both their local and our collective Lifeco priorities. 


What you will do

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support Lifeco strategic initiatives to define and execute on global HR analytics projects;
  • Leverage best practices, contribute to the identification, recommendation, development and implementation to advance global data analytics technologies and reporting mechanisms for current and future needs;
  • Partner with and guide global reporting stakeholders to drive consistency, accuracy, and reliability of gathered data;
  • Engage critical thinking to analyze and interpret large amounts of data;
  • Collaborate to develop and execute on reporting and dashboard strategies to enhance global HR/ people analytics and identify trends or patterns for impactful insights;
  • Develop and maintain appropriate HR/people benchmarks from other relevant global organizations providing an external lens of comparison;
  • Remain apprised of changes led by other groups  (i.e. Corporate Technology, Information Security, HR CoEs, etc.) to embed into Global HR reporting, as appropriate; and
  • Partner with other data groups to identify opportunities for improvement and/or automation in global HR reporting & analytics offerings and processes.

 What you will bring 

  • 6-9 years of related experience
  • University degree, or college diploma, related to Mathematics, Management Information Science, Computer Science, Business (Finance), Information Management, or other similar technical/quantitative discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of all HR/Talent data, exceptional communication skills with wide audiences, multiple technology domain knowledge (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAS, MS Office, R, Python, SQL, VBA, etc.)
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in an ambiguous environment;
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to move multiple priorities along simultaneously;
  • Strong understanding of internal business needs and external market trends;
  • Strong technical skills with data mining, analytics, data collection and reporting systems, transforming data into insights;
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills to develop relationships, lead through influence, and collaborate across various geographies; and
  • Ability to manage ambiguous situations and environments across global companies. 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following office locations: Toronto, London, Winnipeg 

 

The base salary for this position is between  $61,900 - $114,500 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
