Key Job Elements:
- Monitor, coordinate and report on program activities within the scope of the contract to ensure deliverables achieve cost, schedule and performance with a focus on supporting the Program Manager
- Provide Program oversight and guidance to operational activities
- Manage and lead CDRL deliveries, program schedule milestones, and bid and proposal activities as required
- Manage all reporting/presentations/deliverables, both internal and external
- Coordinate with all functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Support to ensure contractual deliveries are achieved
- Lead, monitor, coordinate and report on program activities within the scope of the contract to ensure deliverables achieve cost, schedule and performance
- Lead and monitor cost reduction activities related to program execution
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to facilitate effective contract execution
- Review and approve budget change requests, purchase requisitions, work orders
- Support leadership meetings as required
- Lead progress meetings with internal teams, coordinating resolution and follow up on production, technical or programmatic issues
- Develop and deliver reporting / presentations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Support managing risk elements of the program
- Prepare contractual correspondence; including, meetings/presentation material
- Exercise and encourage a mindset of continuous process improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure all Program activities meet compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR/FCPA/GP/SOX, etc.)
- Assume coverage for Program Manager, as required
- Assume a leadership role for a variety of non-recurring special assignments and develop solutions to unusual and complex problems, as required
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or College Diploma in technical field
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, including project management experience
- Ability to respond to customer requirements and manage expectations while ensuring satisfaction
- Customer and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and solve problems
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
- Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including to facilitate discussions
- Experience developing and delivering presentations
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Experience in MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of GDLS-C Program processes and measurements
- Familiarity with and/or experience in military and GDLS-C standards and processes
- Negotiating skills and experience
- Familiarity with various functional areas of the business
- Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GDLS-C’s production and delivery process
- Product / technical knowledge and defense industry or military experience
- Previous experience working with government contracts
- Related customer experience
- Experience creating or maintaining metrics or other performance reports
- PMP designation or working towards
- Bilingual in English and French
