Job Description: The Configuration Management Data Analyst role is responsible for coordinating and executing transfer requests of technical data and reports between GDLS-C and customer or other General Dynamics sites. This role is responsible for ensuring the data being transferred is compliant with company trade compliance, intellectual property policies, controlled unclassified information and data marking requirements. This role will also analyze and execute requests for part number set up and attribution maintenance in our ERP system (ORACLE) to support tooling and aftermarket spares and kits. This role primarily interfaces with Trade Compliance Management, Data Protection Specialists, Intellectual Property Officer, Program Management, Engineering, Logistics and GDLS-SHO Data Management.
Key Job Elements: - Coordinate and execute data transfers, ensuring that all intellectual property, trade compliance, controlled unclassified information and data marking requirements are met according to recipient, contractual obligations and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the company program management office, IT, and customers on data transfer method. This may include customer sFTP Sites (MoveIt), Secure network folder, or other transfer methods for transferring technical data, reports, or customer deliverable submissions.
- Responsible for maintaining and evolving the Data Transfer database as business needs evolve.
- Responsible for maintaining the Master Control Documents List (MCDL) and coordinating the controlled issuance and distribution of items such as MCDLs, Technical Memos and Technical Reports.
- Analyze and execute requests for part number set up and attribution maintenance in our ERP system (ORACLE) to support tooling, and aftermarket spares and kits.
- Support the Configuration Management Contracts and Change Control Teams as needed.
- Member of Trade Compliance Council.
Required Qualifications:- University Degree or College Diploma
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
- Strong Trade Compliance and Intellectual background
- Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle ERP and Teamcenter PLM applications.
- Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient communication, organization and prioritization skills
