We are looking for a senior-level embedded firmware developer who thrives on building robust, scalable, and secure firmware solutions using Zephyr RTOS. In this role, you will design embedded systems that power innovations in water treatment—systems that must be intuitive, reliable, and secure.
You’ll work at the intersection of real-time performance, innovative features, and failsafe design, helping shape the next generation of intelligent water technologies.

What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain real-time control systems for water treatment applications
Build robust modules using best practices such as unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, safety, and security
Write clear epics and user stories to support efficient sprint execution
Drive continuous improvement through measurable goals—for yourself and the team
Act as a technical resource across teams to support shared initiatives
Deliver high-quality firmware solutions that balance customer value, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability

What You Bring
10+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
5+ years of experience developing in C/C++.
Hands-on experience with an embedded RTOS (Zephyr RTOS or FreeRTOS preferred)
Strong understanding of digital/analog circuits and microcontroller peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC)
Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware teams
Clear, concise communication skills for documentation, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration
The base salary range for this role is $77k-110k CAD annually. Factors that will be considered for the salary offered to the successful candidate include internal equity, years of direct job related and skill experience, and relevant job market.
