Your Mission:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Convertus, you'll be at the heart of our people strategy—helping to shape and grow teams that are passionate about building a cleaner, more sustainable world. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to lead full-cycle recruitment while partnering with hiring managers, institutions, and community organizations to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline. Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like:
  • Leading intake meetings with hiring managers to align on recruitment strategies and role requirements.
  • Managing high-volume, full-cycle recruitment—job postings, proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Creating and maintaining compelling job advertisements that reflect Convertus’ values and attract top talent.
  • Sourcing candidates through job boards, online platforms, career fairs, and direct outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinating interview logistics and maintaining clear, timely communication between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Conducting structured, behaviour-based interviews while ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Preparing and extending employment offers, completing reference checks, and supporting onboarding activities.
  • Tracking recruitment metrics and maintaining accurate applicant data to support continuous improvement.
  • Developing and strengthening partnerships with post-secondary institutions, training providers, and community organizations.
  • Overseeing the Convertus Co-Op program, including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding processes.
  • Managing hiring and student placement grants, including applications and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborating with the HR and Communications teams to enhance employer branding and candidate outreach.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate, up-to-date job descriptions across departments.

This job is for you if you:
  • Hold a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Have 1–2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment
  • Are working towards or have a CHRP designation (an asset, not required).
  • Are comfortable using MS Office, ATS/HRIS platforms, and job posting sites like LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can pivot with changing priorities.
  • Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally—both written and verbal.
  • Excel at building relationships with hiring managers, institutions, and community partners.
  • Love staying organized and keeping track of multiple job openings and recruitment projects.
  • Are proactive, collaborative, and driven by purpose.
  • Are open to occasional travel within Canada (up to 10%).

Position Type:
  • Temporary, Full-Time (Maternity Leave Coverage – Up to 16 Months)
  • Hybrid – 3 days a week on-site

Compensation package:
  • Annual Salary – based on experience and skills.
  • 3 weeks paid vacation – prorated to the start date
